ManCo’s Successful Renovation of the Nightingale CommonsKitchen Renovation of Nightingale Commons

If you’ve been watching ManCo’s vacancy list, you may have noticed multiple units from 1333 W. Fairview being advertised. These units are part of a large renovation ManCo has been working on.

Nightingale Commons

The Nightingale Apartments are located at 1333 W. Fairview Ave., right behind Good Samaritan Hospital. When ManCo discovered the property, it was in bad shape. It needed a lot of work but it had great bones and many amenities including units with 2 bathrooms, an elevator, and great access to parks, the hospital and bus stops.

This apartment complex is a fantastic example of renewal in the Fairview area.

4 Fall Preventative Maintenance Tips for your Properties

Have you started your fall preventative maintenance checklist?

Fall is a wonderful time! The leaves are falling, the weather is changing and it’s time to start preparing your properties for winter weather. It’s important to make sure these fall preventative maintenance tasks are completed to potentially prevent costly repairs in the future.

  1. Clear gutters of any debris – Fallen leaves and other debris can clog gutters causing a leaking roof or water damage to the interior or exterior of your home.
  2. Have your furnace tuned-up – It’s best to have a furnace tune-up every fall. Furnace tune-ups can extend the life of your system, ensure the system is working properly and provide peace of mind. You don’t want to leave your tenants with no heat this winter!
  3. Inspect your roof for damage – Look for broken/loose shingles, debris, and other damage. Finding these issues before winter can prevent water damage or worse problems when the snow starts to fall.
  4. Clean Dryer Vents – Another task to check off your checklist is cleaning dryer vents A clogged dryer vent can be a fire hazard! Also, cleaning dryer vents can reduce energy bills and reduce drying time.
